As the development of urbanization in China, the urban underground pipelines have various characteristics such as huge scale, complex, criss-cross, and so on, so the occurrence of pipeline leak and explosion is increasing by year. Because of the lack of research on pipeline leak and explosion in closed conduit, the providing on scene and investigation are hard to carry on.This paper uses the method of theoretical research and numerical simulation, doing some study on the pipeline leak, oil evaporation, and explosion in closed conduit. And based on the explosive accident in Donghuang oil pipeline of Sinopec, this paper has done some detailed analysis on the reasons for pipeline leak, the type of accident consequences, the leakage rate, and so on, and analyze the model of oil leak amount. Analyzing the extend and evaporation process of spilling oil on the earth or water, and quantitatively calculating the expanding area and evaporation rate of the spilling oil in closed conduit. This paper has built the numerical model of vapour cloud explosion in enclosed space, and numerical modeling the propagation process of inflammable gas explosion in closed conduit with Computational Fluid Dynamics Software, also discussed the process of turbulent flames and pressure wave’s change. Some systematic analysis about the type of vapour cloud explosion accident consequences and evaluation model have been done, and the accident influence scope has been confirmed by TNT combined with TNO, and TNO combined with probability equation. At last, this paper made the quantitative analysis software about the consequences of oil pipeline’s leak, and has quantitatively calculated the oil leak amount, oil evaporation, and the expanding area based on the "11·22" accident. The result tells that the leak amount is2008t, the death radius calculated by THT-THO method is61.5m, the overpressure damage radius calculated by TNT-probability equation method is1.9m, the death radius is109m. At last, the accuracy of this model is confirmed by comparing with the government report.
