Kenli3-2Oilfield Group is located in the south of Bohai Sea, where the average depth of water is about20meters. The main production facilities include seven offshore platforms, including two seat center platforms named BZ35-2CEPA and KL3-2CEPA (KL3-2), and a petroleum processing terminal on land. This article mainly aims at the wax deposition on the pipeline from KL3-2to the petroleum processing terminal on land. This article predicts the wax thickness and provides the basis for determining the pigging period and chooses the best one from four oil paraffin inhibitors for Kenli crude oil. The main contents are as follows:(1) This article researches the wax deposition mechanisms, influence factors, the wax deposition experiment devices and wax deposition mathematical models.(2) Choose the mixed crude oil transforming from KL3-2CEPA to the petroleum processing terminal on land as an oil sample called Kenli oil. The author makes many experiments to study the basic physical properties including wax content, condensation point, wax precipitation point, wax peak and viscosity-temperature curve with Kenli oil.(3) According to the literature research, the author chooses the China University of Petroleum (Beijing) wax deposition model. The use of FLUET software and the universality of the wax model to calculate the wax deposition rate at the China University of Petroleum (Beijing) wax deposition velocity loop experiment device in the test section of Kenli crude oil, can test and verify the feasibility of the method.(4)According to the data of wax deposition rate, which was get under the different flow rate and different oil temperature, this article studies the influence of oil temperature, wall temperature and flow rate on the wax deposition rate. This article adopts regression analysis to get the wax deposition model of Kenli crude oil.(5) This article studies the wax deposition thickness on the pipeline from KL3-2to the petroleum processing terminal on land. According to the known conditions, this article writes procedures by using Matlab software to predict changes of wax deposit thickness at different locations over time in different distance and seasonal condition, which can provide the basis for the determination of pigging period.(6) The author buys four excellent paraffin inhibitors in the market and finds the best paraffin inhibitor for Kenli crude oil through doing experiments. The results show that:the paraffin inhibitor FJ-1101A had the best effect, the wax deposition rate can reach63%and the wax precipitation point decline can reach15℃.
