This design is the planning of Jiangsu Province Rudong Coastal Economic Development Zone (Yangkou Town) two sewage treatment plant project.This Sewage treatment plant will focus on the treatment of domestic sewage and industrial wastewater sewage which has been initially processed discharged by the enterprises to meet the current development of the park.After township merge scale expansion, sewage emissions beyond the capability of the existing sewage treatment plant gradually in addition, Serious environmental pollution problems in recent years had made the state to improve the sewage discharge standards continuously, sewage treatment technology is gradually changing from single organic pollutants removal to both to removal of organic matter and depth of processing stage nitrogen and phosphorus removal, the research and application of new technology to remove nitrogen and phosphorus has become the focus of attention infield of the sewage treatment. CAST process is a novel wastewater treatment process with the function of nitrogen and phosphorus removal, due to its small area, without the primary settling tank and two sedimentation tank, low capital and operating cost, less prone to many advantages of sludge bulking, convenient operation and management, it has been applied more and more in China in recent years.The capacity of sewage treatment plant is planned 160000 m3/d, construction by stages, and first stage is 20000 m3/d. Design feed water quality is SS 230 mg/L, BOD5 185 mg/L, COD 350 mg/L, TN 40 mg/L. The quality of effluent water meets the class A of "Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant (GB 18918-2002)", namely:SS 20 mg/L or less, BOD520 mg/L or less, COD 60 mg/L or less, TN 15 mg/L or less.The design mainly includes coarse grid, improve pump room, fine grille, horizontal flow grit chamber, biological selection pool, CAST pool, mud pools, concentrated sludge dewatering, contact between the pool disinfection, etc.
