The emission of flue gas pollutants from thermal power plant increased due to the economy and energy consumption growed, the stricter atmospheric pollutants standard GB1322-2011 was issued by the government in order to control of atmospheric pollution and improve air quality. The emission of flue gas pollutants from thermal power plants in Yunnan province was investigated in this paper, the operating condition of environmental protection equipments and the emission status of flue gas pollutants from thermal power plant in Yunnan province was introduced, the existing problems and improvement measures of thermal power plant environmental protection system were summarized, such as the operation condition is different from design condition, unstable operation due to the high equipment failure rate, the coal composition changes greatly. Finally, the suggestions and reforming countermeasures were proposed, it is necessary to optimize the operation adjustment and coal blending control.The research on the emission characteristics of flue gas pollutants from circulating fluidized bed(CFB) boiler was particularly important, due to the importance of CFB unit in Yunnan power grid peak shaving. A 300MW CFB boiler was investigated in this article in order to research the dynamic characteristics of flue gas emissions, after changing the amount of limestone, bed temperature, oxygen and other factors, the emissions of SO2, NOx and N2O were analysed, the influence of different parameters under the variable condition were summarized with the formation mechanism, the optimal operating condition of achieving the new flue gas emission standard was obtained.The analysis of this article would had a effect of positive reference of the environmental protection system design, the stable operation of equipments and the control of flue gas pollutants. It could also bring considerable social benefits and environmental benefits.
