The converter steel slag is in the process of converter steelmaking, the slagging materials, smelting materials mixture of high temperature solid solution by a byproduct.Because of the steel slag contains f-CaO this kind of material,it’s content in the steel slag accounted for 0~10%,f-CaO encounter water after the reaction will produce the Ca(OH)2,this reaction makes the steel slag could pulverization and expand, the volume of steel slag would be increased in double size,This situation limits the steel slag application in various fields. This text discusses about the source, character, processing method and digestion method of the f-CaO.This text carries on the analysis of the new digestion method through the experiment of two kinds of different temperature condition. This text discuss about the new digestion method of the f-CaO.In order to realize the recycling utilization of steel slag.In the process of the experiment,it adopt separate design experimental equipment.Based on f-CaO and CO2 produce the reaction of carbonic acid, then it can forms CaCO3.So that it can make mass fraction of f-CaO drop under 3% Meet the national standards. Thus the slag will in road engineering, the construction engineering, concrete engineering have a good application. The experiment through changing the reaction condition, Research different particle size combination of slag temperature of 650℃ to 850℃ under the condition of the volume fraction of CO2 by 80% to 100% in order to change the fCaO in a lot of steel slag into CaCO3, achieve the purpose of volume stabilization.Based on the analysis of experimental results,Put forward to reduce energy consumption, low carbon environmental protection of steel slag processing method.
