Waterproof performance has an important relationship with the waterproof material. The traditional bitumen based waterproofing material releases large amounts of harmful gases. Combined with inorganic materials and organic polymer composite waterproof coatings with high strength, flexibility and film density to improve the comprehensive performance is feasible to develop in the direction of a waterproof material. In our country fly ash is one of solid waste, how to turning waste into use of resources is an important aspect of fly ash. Under certain conditions, fly ash can form a three-dimensional network structure with the high strength named geopolymer which can be used as inorganic materials broaden the use can increase economic value. This paper aims to combine inorganic gel materials and organic polymer materials to prepare waterproof coating, in order to obtain a long-term waterproof coating with strength of inorganic materials and flexible of organic polymer materials.Styrene(St), methyl methacrylate(MMA), butyl acrylate(BA) as based monomers, an organosilicon monomer as a water-Enhancements monomer, potassium persulfate as the initiator, seed emulsion polymerization process for preparing a series of elastic polymer emulsion. By Infrared Spectroscopy, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, Thermal Gravimetric Analysis tools to study such as functional monomer, particle size, systematic of the polymerization monomers ratio, stirring speed, the amount of initiator emulsifier type and amount, other effects on the elastic styrene-acrylic emulsion and latex film properties. Results: MPTS, St, MMA, BA accounted for 4%, 18%, 18%, 60% of the total mass of the monomer respectively; The emulsifier(A: B: C = 2:1:1) accounts for 2.2% of total mass of monomers; Initiator accounts for 1% of the total mass monomer; The polymerization temperature is 80 ℃ and the stirring speed is 250 ~ 350 r/min and the reaction of the total time is 4.5h. Under the above conditions, emulsion performance better standard JC/T 1017-2006 "Polymer emulsions for building waterproofing coatings ".Kaolin and fly ash as raw material by crushing and calcination to increase reactivity, silicate as activator to prepare coatings. Studied the effect of calcination system, powderliquid ratios on the geological formation and discusses the geology curing mechanism of the formation of a thin polymer coating. Homemade elastic latex material and fly ash waterproof coating compound was prepared to study the influence of the ratio of the component waterproof coating geological polymer / organic polymer composite, coalescent, discusses the kinds of waterproof coating formation mechanism and waterproof mechanism. Experimental results show that the coating performance standard GB / T 23445-2009 "polymer-modified cement compounds for waterproofing membrane".
