The dress is an important carrier of national culture. The Chinese nation forthousands of years of history, to create a rich and colorful and distinctive clothingculture, become an independent school in the world fashion culture. In the clothing styles, patterns to design silver,jewelry, waist, jewelry and other clothing accessories borrows even meet the eyeeverywhere directly copying western fashion design phenomenon, and theapplication of excellent Chinese traditional costume elements in modern fashiondesign is increasingly shrinking, in this context, how to combine the Chinesetraditional costumes cultural elements with modern way of life, the modern aesthetictaste and the world fashion trend, how to make China traditional costume culturerejuvenated in modern clothing design, how to create new national clothing culture,become the people especially the apparel design practitioners had to think about theproblem.I grew up with great interest in antiquities, years of antiquities collection,especially in ancient clothing accessories and jewelry collection and clearing for lovefor study, so I became interested in Chinese traditional decorative culture, lead me onthe traditional decorative culture and contemporary clothing design thinking, beganto explore the outstanding elements of Chinese traditional decoration culture into thepossibility of the contemporary clothing decorated meter. This paper tries to base onthe results of previous studies, combined with my interest and creative designpractice, illustrate some of their own views and opinions on the problem. Mygraduation creation is mainly designed with ornaments and jewelry, so the content ofthe thesis is divided into two parts, one is through the history of the development ofre examining the traditional Chinese costume, sums up the features of culture, andwith the combination of the practice of their own creation, to explore how to designwith excellent decorative elements of traditional costume culture used in the presentthe two is to study; I described for, especially for stone cultural understanding andawareness of, and to explore the excellent traditional culture elements will clear forthe possibility for jewelry design.
