Review And Prospect Of Traditional Weaving Art ——Pipe Bead Hand-woven Clothing Design Study

The art of weaving has a long history,emerging with the emergence of human civilization and developing as a result of social progress.Today,the weaving technique has shown more than its original practical function;it has become a unique form of handcrafted art,and the art of hand weaving can often be found on both precious cultural relics in collections and modern handicrafts.Because of its rich textural effect and high plasticity,woven fabric is often applied by designers to the field of clothing design.In this paper,through a theoretical study of traditional weaving art,we understand the historical trajectory of weaving techniques and the forms of artistic transformation,and then innovate the art of pipe bead weaving from practice and apply it to garment art design.The study begins with the theoretical documentation of traditional weaving techniques,understanding the historical origins of weaving,listing examples of traditional Chinese hand-woven art,defining the concept of hand-woven art in its entirety,and analyzing the development trend of hand-woven art in apparel art.The art of weaving contains a variety of handicraft art forms,and in the process of research,the author discovered a special kind of pipe bead weaving art,whose weaving form is different from conventional weaving,in which the concept of making things with frugality and art aesthetic value is the focus of the author's research.And this leads to the consideration and practice of combining the application of modern tube bead material and various weaving art forms.In the context of information globalization,the trend and prospect of Chinese clothing design has been controversial.While receiving more advanced and avant-garde information knowledge from the outside world,design workers cannot neglect the excavation and development of local traditional crafts,and the combination of the derivative use of traditional techniques and the innovation of new materials and technologies can better reflect the value of contemporary art in clothing design.
