Nitrogen oxide is one of the main pollutants in the atmosphere. With more attention paid to the ecological environment, relevant departments have enacted some standards, projects, price compensation policy about denitration in thermal power plants, to promote the implementation of NOx emission reduction. Therefore, thermal denitration system, especially the selective catalytic reduction (SCR) has been widely used in power generation enterprises’production, so the denitration cost has a direct impact on their income. However, the current research on denitration cost is still limited, in view of the lack of quantitative research on factors of cost, which is not conducive to the refinement of the power generation enterprises’cost management.This paper has studied the effect factors of denitration project investment and operation cost of coal-fired power plants and the mathematical model of denitration cost. First, the status of research development and application status of denitration technology and denitration cost at home and abroad are discussed. A questionnaire is designed based on the denitrification process and qualitative analysis of the factors affecting the denitration cost. After collecting and processing related datas of denitrification project investment and operation cost of the 45 thermal power plants, a total of 86 sets of coal-fired units, the influence of individual factors on cost is clear. Secondly, the influence factors of denitrification investment cost, reducing agent cost, catalyst replacing amount and denitrification process power consumption rate and the degree of the influence are analyzed based on the theory of grey relational analysis and multiple regression analysis theory. And the mathematical model of denitration agent cost is established, the mathematical model of the cost of investment, the catalyst replacement volume and denitrification process power consumption rate studied. Finally, according to the results, measures to reduce denitration cost of thermal power enterprises are suggested.
