Study On The Influence On Household’s Agricultural Production And Living Behavior Of Water Environmental Improvement Project

Water environmental pollution and destruction has become one of the environmental problems in the world.The households as the main participants of water environmental protection and the main provider of the ecosystem services,it’s very urgent and necessary of the related research of the influence on households of water environment improvement.The paper analyse the status of water environment improvement project implementation using the methods of statistical description and the non observable effect panel data model,and focus on the analysis of the effects on the households’ agriculture production and living behavior of water environment improvement project implementation based on the field survey data of the typical demonstration area of the policy of water environmental improvement implementation in Tieling County.The main research process and conclusions are as follows:(1)This paper analyses the influence on the input of agricultural productive factors of water environment improvement project implementation based on the field survey data.The research shows that the implementation of water environment improvement project can enable farmers to reduce the input of agricultural production factors,especially,the usage of chemical fertilizer and pesticide.Among them,for the corn,the usage of chemical fertilizer decreased by 5.35%, the usage of pesticides by 9.62% after the implementation the project;for the rice,the usage of chemical fertilizer decreased by 7.43%, the usage of pesticides by 13.67% after the implementation of the project.(2)This paper analyses the influence on the output of households’ agricultural production of the implementation of the water environment improvement project using the methods of the non observable effect panel data model.The research shows that the implementation of water environment improvement project can change the households’ income structure,the implementation of the project has a negative effect on the agricultural income,including farming income, animal husbandry and aquaculture income,and has a positive effect on the non farm employment income,but the effect is not significant,it’s possible relate to the shortly time of implementation of the project.(3)The paper analyses the influence on the households’ living expenditure and the disposal mode of domestic waste and sewage and living behavior of the implementation of the water environment improvement project.The research shows that the implementation of water environment improvement project has a negative effect on the agricultural productive expenditure, durable goods expenditure and health care expenditure,and has a positive effect on food and clothing expenditure,but the effect is not significant.It can restrain the disposal mode of the household life garbage and sewage of the implementation of the water environment project,and it can promote the households choosing more environmentally friendly way to dispose the life garbage and sewage.Based on the result of the research:To promote soil testing Fertilization, guiding farmers to the scientific and reasonable use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides;To develop the ecological tourism, to improve the non-agricultural income of household;To strengthen the propaganda of environmental protection, actively promote the garbage classification;Suit one’s measures to local conditions to carry out the rural sewage dispose and infrastructure construction.
