The study of amidines complexes are of great current interest owing to biological activity and particular properties. Amidines complexes are mostly prepared from the reactions of amidinate ligands and metal ions, so, one-pot in situ synthesis should be a simple, convenient and effective green method to form amidine complexes. In this thesis, the reactions of amino-1,3,4-thiodiazole, organic nitriles and transition metal ions obtain five new Ag I, Ni II aromatic amidine complexes by solvent thermal method. The structures complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, IR, single crystal X-ray diffraction techniqueand XRD. Furthermore, their syntheses, structure and propertieswere studied. The main contents are as follows:1.Amino-1,3,4-thiodiazolecompounds(2-amino-5-methyl-1,3,4-thiodiazole;2-amino-5-eth yl-1,3,4-thiodiazole; 2-amino-5-(4-pyridyl)-1,3,4-thiodiazole)were synthesized, and they were characterized by elemental analysis and IR.2. The Amino-1,3,4-thiodiazole compounds reacted with organic nitriles(CH3CN, Ph CN)and transition metal ions(Ag NO3, Ni Ac2) obtaining five complexes by solvothermal synthetic methods. The results show: one pot multicomponent reaction of organic nitriles, can obtain the amidine complexes which are hard to prepare by traditional methods, and the yield is high, the solvent plays a particularly important role in the process of the product crystallization.3. The crystal structures of five complexes were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. Complex 1 is eight nuclear Ag I structure; Complex 2 is one-dimensional chain Ag I coordination polymer formed by eight nuclear Ag I structure and 4,4’-bipyridine; Complex 3 is two-dimensional net Ag I coordination polymer;Complexes 4 and 5 are both mononuclear Ni II structures.4. The TG-DTA of the complexes show their thermal stability are good. The fluorescence properties of Ag complexes are determined. They exhabit good fluorescence properties. The electrochemical activities of complexes are determined, and the electrode reaction is a reversible process.
