With the rapid development of modern wireless communication, wireless devices are facing greater challenge to compress the RF system size. The wireless devices need the character of high efficiency, high reliability, low cost and normal operation under influences of temperature 、humidity、 external impact and EMI. Therefore, people began to use the System In a Package technology to solve this problem. There are higher package requirements for the RF transceiver system, which lead to the target of miniaturization, highly integration and low-cost.As a modern package technology, LTCC technology embeds the passive components into the substrate, while it attaches the active chip to the surface of substrate. From the design standpoint, it not only has a great flexibility to achieve the three-dimensional structure goal, while the Printed circuit board(PCB) packaging technology and ceramic materials do not possess, but also meets to modern packaging technical requirements of high reliability and low cost.LTCC technology integrate materials development、circuit model design and processing technology. Fisrtly We design the LTCC capacitor and inductance model, extract its PI circuit model in ADS simulation environment. Then we adopt a compact structure and good performance bandpass filter modeled by 0805 size package. When working at center frequency f0 = 2.4 GHz, its insertion loss is below 3 dB, and return loss is greater than 20 dB. Zero transfer points are distributed in the 2.7 GHz and 1.5 GHz, and beyond the 4 GHz the band attenuation is greater than 25 dB.Adopting the ADS software and CST software co-simulation environment, we can carry out the design for the RF transceiver system integrated with active devices and passive components. While relying on the traditional PCB circuit layout approach and combining it with the characteristics of LTCC technology, we can design a 3D circuit model. This article designs a Low-noise amplifier(LNA)system which works in 2.4 GHz band and reaches the Gain=30 dB, the Noise Figure(NF)=3.0 dB.Then the LTCC technology is employed to complete the final package.
