A Case Study Of Ecological Protection At The Scenic Spot Lugu Lake Developed By The Government Of Yanyuan County

Tourism development and the increasing number of tourists have brought destruction on the ecological environment and impact on humanistic environmentat scenic spots. How to develop the natural and humanistic ecology at scenic spots in a sustainable way, namely protection and development at the meantime has become a highly concerned focus and a harsh issue in public management. Therefore, ecological protection at scenic spots has become a pressing issue during current tourism development. Lugu Lake, due to its beautiful natural environment, favorable ecosystem as well as unique ethnic customs and culture, has become a model of perfect combination of nature and human beings. This dissertation reviews research resultsconcerned, takes ecological protection at Lugu Lake as the case and further analyzes it. Through the analysis and research on its systematicness and uniqueness, it reaches lessons and enlightenment on ecological protection at scenic spots.This paper carries out the Lugu Lake ecological protection work of the Government of Yanyuan County through case analysis, and mainly teases out the background, main practices and effects through analysis and research, evaluates the system and characteristics of the Lugu Lake ecological protection practice on the perspective of public, puts forward the experience and countermeasures in the process of practice and provides certain reference for ecological protection work in order to other scenic spots.This paper consists of six parts: Part one summarizes the related literature and research outcomes home and abroad, defines the definition of ecological protection at scenic spots, and further clarifies methodologies, main ideas and contents of this essay. Part two introduces the trend of ecological protection at scenic spot in China, analyzes the confusions in this field and further proposes the representativeness of ecological protection at Lugu Lake developed by Yanyuan County. Part three takes the ecological protection at Lugu Lake as case study, sorting out its background, major measures and corresponding effects. Part four seizes “systematicness” and “characteristics” as two key factors in the case and develops detailed analysis on its systematicness in planning and management system, as well as the pertinence of its protection measures, diversity of its approaches and creativeness of its tourism mode during its protection. Part five provides suggestions for ecological protection at other scenic spots based on the case analysis. Part six makes conclusion on the case and propose future expectation.
