In this study, We set up a wash-trickling filter device, combined with ceramic fillers, for ammonia and hydrogen sulfide purification experiment and seek improved methods of ceramic. Under different experimental conditions, improve processes and parameters, combined with the actual operating conditions and experimental data of processing hydrogen sulfide and ammonia, by calculation and simulation, to derive mathematical model of the device, and optimize the design of this device. After analyzing the experiment had the following conclusions.1. The new ceramic surface roughness increased, the density and porosity have a certain increase, increasing by 14.7% and 8%, respectively, pH decreased to 3.26 from 6.78, isoelectric point PI increased more than three times. Surface material is mainly hematite, indicating the modified ceramic surface α-Fe2O3, its PI 8.5.2. After a stable biofilm,respectively, in different inlet concentration, intake air flow rate, pH and flow rate of circulating fluid, bed pressure drop, temperature, we conducted experiments, for the removal of hydrogen sulfide.The results show that the removal efficiency is more than 95%,in temperature 25-30℃, gas flow 2.4m3·h, the circulating fluid spray volume 12L·h-1, pH6.0-7.0, wash the gas flow 25L·h-1, for less than 800mg·m-3 hydrogen sulfide.3. For the removal of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide with different volume ratios, we have conducted experiments and found that the proportion of the different effects the removal:A high proportion of ammonia does not affect the removal of hydrogen sulfide, and even beneficial effects, and a high proportion of hydrogen sulfide removal of ammonia have hindered. Upon removal of the mixed gas, under neutral or slightly alkaline conditions, suitable for the growth of bio film can have, and have good effect for removing the mixed gas.4. When only leads to ammonia, the device showed good removal efficiency.This indicates that for the removal of ammonia, hydrogen sulfide exist without a big impact,in the low concentration of the mixed gas.5. According to the theoretical basis of previous studies,We derive a mathematical model of the gas-liquid mass transfer and biodegradation process,and derive the reaction rate equation for the removal of hydrogen sulfide.According to the data, compared to the introduction of the reaction rate constant, we found that the reaction rate constant is constant,and the reaction is zero-order equation at low concentrations of hydrogen sulfide removal process.
