Schedule Management Of Ultra High Speed Cnc Grinder Development Project

With the development of the equipment manufacturing industry, China has become the world’s third largest grinding machine manufacturing base, only after Germany, Japan. Now, for China’s high precision machining equipment, there are huge contradictions between manufacturing, production capacity and huge market demand. For flexible, agile machine development, customers have much more requirements. Facing the market pressure, improve the efficiency of development, shorten the delivery cycle, is an important issue for the machine tool industry.In this paper, we analyzed on domestic and foreign project schedule management. And then, combined with the condition of Shanghai Machine Tool Works Ltd, we study on schedule management of ultra high speed CNC grinder development project. At First, we have a deep understanding of the process of ultra high speed CNC grinder development project, and then, we set up the schedule network chart. Using design time quota method, we evaluate the time of design work;then, using PERT/CPM method,we evaluate the time of any other work. We have a preliminary project schedule for the ultra high speed CNC grinder development project. In order to make the project schedule meet the needs, we use resource-time method and time method optimized the initial project schedule. Secondly, applying the dynamic tracking and control techniques, we solved the problems happened in project implementation. We updated the project schedule so that the project schedule not delayed. At last, we summarized the study result.The ultra high speed CNC grinder development project schedule management has been proved in the actual operation of the project. The application of schedule management ensures that the project completed on time successfully. Template of ultra high speed CNC grinder development project provides a meaningful example for future business project management.
