In order to seize market quickly, the requirement of Steel enterprises to the project Durations is shorter and shorter, as a sequence, the design durations is severe compression.To ensure that the design durations correspond to the project schedule, the paper research the company S long products design project schedule mainly, first of all, establish level3WBS of design according to the project level2WBS, and then treat the design phase time nodes of level2project schedule as the latest finish time, the design duration could be determined, estimate the duration of the project unit of work, using the network diagram technology preparation of project network diagram, find out the critical path, finally create a design schedule of long products project, and carries on the control and adjustment according to the schedule, let the design durations in line with the requirements of project durations.Hope this paper could provide template of the design schedule management to the S company long products project, also could provide the reference of design schedule management to the enterprises with similar project situation.
