High-speed Machining technology has become a major field of modern production and processing technology,because it is a modern processing technology by increasing the processing speed as to improve productivity, precision, processing quality and cost reduction for the purpose. Profiled camshaft engine valve train parts, key parts of textile machinery and automated production lines, and it has a highly requirements of precision, efficiency, surface quality, therefore, which requires camshaft grinder with better static and dynamic performance. The wheel spindle is one of its core features, static and dynamic characteristics will grinder spindle machining accuracy, efficiency, and surface quality have a huge impact., so analysis the high-speed spindle unit static and dynamic characteristics, it has a very important significance to improve the performance of high-speed nachining.This paper through CNC8325B-speed camshaft grinding wheel spindle as the research object,combine the finite element simulation of theoretical analysis and experimental research, establish wheel spindle finite element model, specific work carried out as follows:1、In the finite element analysis software Ansys Workbench, the finite element modeling is carried out on the grinding wheel spindle system, the static characteristics of finite element analysis is carried out on the grinding wheel spindle, get the deformation of grinding wheel spindle under the static and dynamic load, and analyze and calculate the static stiffness of the grinding wheel spindle.2、When using the finite element analysis software Ansys Workbench to grinding wheel spindle system for the dynamic characteristics of the finite element analysis analyzes the grinding wheel spindle system under free state, the spindle system of the first six orders of model shapes, natural frequency and the critical speed, the structural design of validation of the main electric axis can effectively avoid the resonance region.3、Testing the radial stiffness of the wheel spindle tested by building the wheel spindle static stiffness testing system,and verified the correctness of the finite element model by Comparing the results of the experiments with the result of the finite element analysis4、Using experimental modal analysis method for grinding wheel spindle modal test, and having the modal analysis, and got the natural frequency of the wheel spindle, avoid resonance effect of processing effect, verifying the accuracy of the finite element analysis by comparing the modal test measured natural frequency of the wheel spindle whit the result of the finite element analysis of the dynamic characteristics of the natural frequencies.
