With the improvement of the aesthetics requirement of teeth, people are constantly looking for the dental restorative materials which are similar to natural teeth. All-ceramic materials become more and more popular for their excellent properties, such as good translucent, good biocompatibility, stable chemical properties and abrsion resistance etc. But ceramic materials have defect, namely, its inherent brittleness, which leads to high fracture risk and short service life. As a result, people have been committed to the research of the all-ceramic materials. The strong toughness of all-ceramic is improve by changing the method of porcelain material structure and processing technology, so that it can be better meet the requirements of the function of the oral cavity. In this paper, the 3Y-TZP all-ceramic materials were prepared by microwave sintering and glass infiltration technique. The effects of microwave sintering process, glass infiltration process on the microstructure and properties of 3Y-TZP all-ceramic materials were studied, the suitable process parameters of improving the strength and toughness of 3Y-TZP all-ceramic materials were worked out, which can be better for clinical application. The results show that,(1) Adding 5 wt % ammonium bicarbonate as pore-forming agent, the matrix porosity and pore size is more suitable for molten glass infiltration.(2) In a certain time of heat preservation(30 min) conditions, with the increasing of microwave sintering temperature, the microhardness, fracture toughness, flexural strength of the samples with 5 wt % pore-forming agent are all first increased and then decreased. At 1200℃ the mechanical performance reaches the best, which the microhardness, fracture toughness and bending strength are 10.49 GPa、8.52 MPa·m1/2、336.74 MPa, respectively.(3) In a certain microwave sintering temperature(1200 ℃) conditions, with the increasing of microwave sintering holding time, the microhardness, fracture toughness, flexural strength of the samples are all first increased and then decreased.(4) The structure and properties of the samples are improved after molten glass infiltration, and the organization and mechanical of the samples after molten glass infiltration at 1300℃ for 6h reaches the best, that the microhardness, fracture toughness and bending strength are 15.64 GPa 、 34.94 MPa·m1/2、637 MPa, respectively.(5) The abrasion resistance of the samples after glass infiltration is better than without glass infiltration, the abrasion resistance of samples after glass infiltration at 1300℃ for 6h is the best.
