| In recent years, refractory gold ore as the main resource of gold has been on the agenda.Carlin-type is the advantage of resources in Guizhou province, which refractory gold mine directly cyanide leaching rate is very poor, mainly gold in the form of microgranular disseminated type is embedded in Iron disulfide and arsenopyrite. At present, roasting, chemical oxidation,biological oxidation pretreatment methods have been used to deal with this kind of gold mine. Their purpose is that Oxidative decomposition of metal sulfide and openly gold package. Therefore, the degree of oxidation of sulfur and conversion will directly the rate of leaching gold and how to influence, which is few researches in this area at home or abroad.A certain refractory gold ore in Guizhou as research object is studied, using XRD, chemical analysis and thermal gravimetric experiment research regular that the rate of desulfurization impact on rate of leaching gold in process of roasting pretreatment. Exploring the influence of roasting temperature, roasting time and roasting way on rate of desulfurization and rate of leaching gold, and rate of desulfurization relationship with rate of leaching gold. Through the experimental exploration and combining with theoretical analysis revelation that morphological changes and degree of oxidation of sulfur affecting on rate of leaching gold in the pretreatment process.The rate of leaching gold increases along with rising of rate of desulphurization rate. The rate of desulfurization is increased from just 88.93% to 93.06%,also the leaching rate of gold is increased from 69.31% to 90.06% when the roasting temperature is rising.The rate of desulfurization is increased from 86.94% to 91.01%, also the leaching rate of gold is increased from 71.71% to 89.64% when the roasting time is extending.
