The present paper was based on " 1580mm hot rolled strip of Shougang Iron and Steel Company". For the situation that the temperature control system of hot rolling is in the primary stage, studied the level-Ⅱ finish rolling temperature control system, developed a temperature control system of hot rolling that adapt to be used on-line. In the same time, in order to analysis the temperature distribution in the strip thickness direction, established one-dimensional finite difference model. Using C++language to programme, resolved the change regular of finish rolling temperature and the strip temperature field. Compared the model calculating results with the 1580mm field date, the results indicate that the accuracy of temperature model is high. The study results will be useful to optimize the process parameter of hot rolling process and analysis the internal organizational structure. Main tasks are as follows:(1) On the basis of analysing the theory and method of hot rolling level-Ⅱ temperature control process, temperature control system for finish inter-stand cooling system was built. Because the complexity of strip tracking affect the inter-stand cooling, the strip and cooling unit were divided, according to micro-tracking method.(2) Used relevant theory to analysis the heat radiation, high pressure water descaling, heat transfer conducting with roller, strip plastic deformation, frictional temperature rise and inter-stand cooling. High accuracy mathematic models of temperature calculating in hot rolling were built, including air cooled model, water cooled model,heat transfer conducting with roller model and strip plastic deformation model.(3) Combining with the specific process and equipment parameters of one hot rolling production line, temperature control system from the export thermometer of rough rolling to the export thermometer of finish rolling was built.(4) Based on the temperature control system, one-dimensional finite difference model in the thickness direction was established.
