The 2500m3 blast furnace in Xinyu Iron & Steel Group Co., Ltd was put into operation in 2009 and 2010, its technology and equipment is the leading domestic level in the same type blast furnace. Environmental protection is getting more and more attention, casthouse is the key source to produce smoke and dust. Casthouse bag dust removal EIC control system is a complex control system, which relates to automatic control of many equipments whose medium pressure is lOkV and low pressure is 380V. Based on the design of 2500m3 blast furnace casthouse automatic control system, in this paper, we research the technological process of the casthouse, design and implement blast furnace casthouse bag dust removal automatic control system. The main research work is as follows:(1) The technological process and equipment of casthouse bag dust removal system was analyzed. The control requirements for power supply and distribution, technological process of the casthouse, process test contents and requirements, the soft starting control system of fan, were comprehensively analyzed. The bag dust removal technology process and operational principle of variable speed fluid coupling were discussed.(2) The working principle and the technical parameters of key equipment were analyzed to determined. The upper and lower limit of each process object detection and protection shutdown parameters were defined. Around the casthouse dust removal work curve and distribution, with the electrical energy process from first to last, the overall design of the casthouse bag dust removal control system was completed.(3) The casthouse bag dust removal electrical system was design. The casthouse low-voltage load was calculated. The lkV,2000kW motor relay protection circuit design and relay protection data calculation were completed. The low pressure distribution system was designed, and the design and type selection of UPS calculation of DC24V power supply capacity were completed. The casthouse bag dust removal process detection and control design were completed.(4) According to the requirements of automatic control, the bag dust removal PLC selection, I/O signal configuration, hardware connection, as well as the connection between the master and slave station network were completed. The casthouse LI computer network connection was completed. The casthouse fan startup and sequence dust removal process were designed. The PLC program design of the key link, such as ash unloading control and auto alarm, was completed.
