With the development of chemical industry, a variety of chemicals has been inseparable in the life of people. The security of chemicals had gradually become the concerned topic. Not only respiratory system, but also human health has been hurt by the odor of volatile organic compounds in the environment we work out.The subject of the experiment was methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate in air pollution and pigment printing. In this paper, the odor intensity of methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate was quantified by artificial olfactory method, Fox4000 electronic nose and gas chromatography. The results showed that: the respective olfactory detection limit of methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate was 11ng/mL, 8.3ng/mL and 0.45μg/mL. The highest intensity of odor was ethyl acrylate, the lowest intensity of odor was methyl methacrylate. The sensitive sensors of Fox4000 electronic nose were P30/1, PA/2, T30/1, T70/2. The respective electronic nose detection limit of methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate was 5.9ng/m L, 9.3 ng/m L and 6.1ng/mL. The sensitivity of people was higher than the electronic nose to the high odor of intensity; on the contrary, electronic nose is higher than people. Different intensities of methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate odor electronic nose radar charts were accumulated in this paper. The result of this paper established a certain foundation for effective and objective examination of the odor.
