Tahe oilfield is located in north border of taklamakan desert and the south border of tianshan in KuCheXian and LunTaiXian territory, Xinjiang. At present, the exploitation of some wells has been in the period of water injection, the water content of crude oil is high, and the scaling ions content is high in the water, which has resulted in different degree of scaling in pipeline. This problem can bring huge economic loss and affect the safe production in gathering and transportation systemIn this paper, a large fundamental technical data has been collected and the scaling environment has been analysed. The water samples from the oil field have been tested, which has given the composition of water content (mainly about the ions) and had provided strong support for anti-scaling process in tahe oilfield. Based on the water quality analysis datas, the scaling prediction model of the gathering and transportation system in tahe oilfield has been proposed, and the trend of the scaling has been predicted. The predicted results have been compared with the production data, the error has been modified by the mothode of multiple regression analysis method. Then the Oddo-Tomson calcium carbonates saturation exponent equation has been modified by ultiple regression analysis method. The modification predicted results was very closed to the really scaling trend in the gathering and transportation system.Based on the features of scaling and anti-scaling requirements, we suggest that chemical anti-scaling method should be applied in the tahe gathering and transportation system. The laboratory testing of different anti-scaling has been applied in different temperature and pH value. Analysising the test datas, a new anti-scaling agent MS-1 has been developed. And then, the MS-1 and PA25CL agent have been combinated in different concentrations in the laboratory. Compareing a lot of datas, the best blend proportion is 1:1. Of couse the adding process has been established in this paper. This process can bring huge economical benefits to tahe oilfield.
