With the rapid development of mechanical engineering, besides the requirement of machine’s weight being light,lower cost, convenient application and good technical capability, higher and higher machining capability is also demand. And the dynamic and static characteristic is closely related with the machining capability. So, to improve the dynamic and static performance of CNC machine tools is significant.In order to guarantee the machine tool has good static rigidity, dynamic characteristic, precision keeping and processing technology quietly, need to carry on systematic dynamics analysis to the machine tools during the process of designing and making the lathe, in order to accurate discovery limit machine tools dynamic weak link that performance raise rapidly, realize designing dynamically fast, in an flexible way, offer the basis with rational science for structural design of the machine tools.The finite element method and modal analysis theory are becoming more and more popular in the design of modern machine tools. Based on the theory and method of structure dynamic, focusing on the characteristic of the bed and column, we study how to make machine tools have logical structure and excellent dynamic performance with the design of CNC bevel gear machine tool. The contents are as follows:1. The development and present situation of the fields correlative of the dynamic design and experiment technology to mechanical products is summarized, Putting forward the purpose and meaning, understanding the research content of the subject.2. Using SolidWorks design software to build the machine tool entity model. Import finite element model to the ANSYS software for static analysis and calculate, and find the weak links of parts.3. Carry on dynamic and static analysis about the bed and column of machine tools, Study the natural frequency, responding to the structure humorously, etc. By altering the thickness of the inner ribs to find out them how to influence dynamic performance.4. Redesign the structure, the dynamic characteristics of the bed and column are improved. It can reach the aims of economizing materials and acquiring the requirements.5. Through resting and rigidity test, modal test and cutting vibration test, we could validate effective the result of the finite element analysis.
