The implementation of the new standard of vehicle gasoline and diesel fuel, in reducing vehicle pollutant emissions, improve air quality, but also to the oil refining industry has brought unprecedented challenges. In our country’s vehicle fuel, the composition of the blend is more than 70% of the catalytic cracking product. So it can decrease the sulfur content of the catalytic cracking product and reduce the sulfur content in the fuel. Due to the characteristics of the process itself, the lower the product sulfur content, the more hydrogen operation conditions, resulting in the oil olefin saturation, octane number decreased, the yield decreased and other issues more prominent. In catalytic cracking process, the sulfur content of oil is reduced by using the desulfurization agent, and it will be helpful to slow down the process of subsequent hydrogenation process.Analysis of sulfur in catalytic cracking unit, found that most of the sulfur distribution in the diesel, coke and gas(including the loss of the waste water, etc.), while the gasoline fraction of sulfur is very little, only the total sulfur 2.81m%. The sulfur in diesel oil is mainly based on the benzene and thiophene and two benzene and thiophene. The content of C2- was the highest, reaching 268.98 mg/mL, followed by C3-(181.71 mg/mL), C1-(179.73 mg/mL) and C2- two(152.21) and(mg/mL). Sulfur compounds in gasoline were dominated by thiophene, and there was a small amount of(8.68 mg/mL), 2-(5.03 mg/mL), 3-(7.17 mg/mL),(4.34 mg/mL), and single methyl thiophene in gasoline.10 kinds of desulfurization agent, with the increase of the content of the desulfurization agent, the desulfurization rate is increased; the use of desulfurization agent DS-1 desulfurization rate of up to 21.2%, but the yield of light oil is 3 units, the amount of coke increased by 1.4 units, the use of DS-8 is the best, the amount of 10%, gasoline desulfurization rate reached 23.2%. Product distribution showed that the yield of liquefied gas increased, while the yield of light oil decreased by 1.9 units, but the total liquid increased by 0.55 units, and the amount of coke was unchanged, and the octane number of catalytic gasoline increased by 1.1 units. Under the same conditions, the use of the comprehensive use of the desulfurization agent DS-8 best.
