With the development of scientific technology and the improvement of mechanical automation, lathes are developing in the direction of high efficiency and automation. Under this circumstance, the Numerical Control appears and is used widely. And the most eye-catching in the numerical control machine tools is the five-axis CNC machine tool. At present, multi-axis CNC technology in manufacturing industry is getting more and more important, especially in the face processing of the specific surface of the mould and the automotive industry. The technology relates to machinery, electronics, and other disciplines; its design and experiments face some difficulties. All colleges and universities, scientific research institutions and manufacturers go all out to carry out its technical research.Machine tools structure design. First of all, carry out the overall design of the five-axis machine tools, and chose the turntable type with the main shaft deflecting; Secondly, perform the specific structure design of each module of the five-axis machine, including the five-axis machine tool overall scheme, main shaft driving system, mechanical transmission components and rotary table, bed design and finite element analysis.Spindle drive system is one of the important parts of the numerical control machine tool. The main shaft system design includes the design of the main shaft parts, the main transmission way, the main shaft transmission arrangement and the support of the main shaft parts. The main shaft is driven by the combination of synchronous belt and harmonic reducer, which mainly includes the design and calculation of the harmonic reducer, and the calculation and verification of synchronous belt drive.The design of rotary table and mechanical transmission parts includs the transmission mode of the rotary table, worm gear reducer design, the transmission screw structure, and the calculation of the lead screw.Body design is mainly the design of the lathe bed structure, and based on the stiffness requirement, the block type welding structure of lathe bed is chosen. Then use ANSYS finite element analysis software for five-axis machine to carry out finite element simulation analysis and check the main bearing parts. Calculate the deformation of each module, and performe finite element analysis of the optimized bearing parts, then get the deformation diagram of bearing parts under extrem condition, and check whether the parts meet the requirements of deformation. Anaylize the force and deformation of the machine tool, getting the corresponding diagrams, and check whether it meets the requirements of deformation and stability.
