MCH50 is used for the machining of engine cylinder block and head. Rotary table is an important part of the maching center, and the transmission accuracy of the rotary table has great effect on the overall performance of the system. This article mainly focuses on the following aspects.The general structure design of the rotary table was finished on the basis of technical requirements. For the most important part of the rotary table —transmission mechanism, structure design, the analysis of force and service life checking all have been finished in detail.Based on the rotary table of MCH50, a transmission accuracy model of the combined mechanism was established according to the process error, eccentric error, phase angle, load and deformation. The model was verified by the calculation of driving mechanism, the results showed that the integrated transmission error was consistent with the experimental result. On this basis, the influence of the distribution of the velocity ratio and center distance of gear to transmission accuracy was analyzed.The moel’s assembly variation was analyzed by ADAMS. Designed a device to measuring the angle of rotary table, analyzed this device’s feasibility in theory and the resolution of angular, and built the 3D model of the rolling angle measuing equipment by Pro/E.Finite element analysis software was used to research the effect of thermal deformation on transmission accuracy. A heat and mass transfer model was established by the analysis and calculation of the rotary table’s heatre-sources. The distributions of stress and strain were obtained by analyzing the thermal deformation of its main components-worm shaft and worm gear pairs. The transmission accuracy model was modified according to the simulation results.
