| People’s life and property security are on the hazard with frequent fires, effective defense and measures to resist fire is one of the topics of concern. Our country has been prepared flame retardant textile materials mainly for special operations for a long time, rarely for wearing product development, however, textiles are the main factor of spread of fire, so clothes with fire-retardant features will inevitably enable people to reduce damage in the fire. How to enhance the capacity of human beings to resist disasters has been a issue in the field of science, to design and develop a kind of a flame-retardant clothing fabric will be a subject which is worth exploring.First of all, to get hold of the status of the domestic fiber market, select the flame-retardant polyester, flame retardant acrylic, viscose fiber with higher cost performance ratio as raw materials to produce fabrics in the form of interweaven and then to test their functionality and comfortability.All fabric simples used flame-retardant polyester as warp, weaving two series of fabric A and B. The filling yarn of series A use flame retardant acrylic fiber and viscose fiber as raw materials to analyzes the impact of different amounts of flame retardant acrylic fabric on flame retardant effect by nine of them(fabric 1 # to 9 # which have the same fabric weave and its interweave proportion was 1:0ã€4:1ã€3:1ã€2:1ã€1:1ã€1:2ã€1:3ã€1:4ã€0:1, flame retardant acrylic fiber content in ascending order); To analyze the relationship between the different fabric structure and fire resistance by experiment that consist of five kinds of fabric which have the same proportion weft yarns and different fabric structure. B1 ~ B9 belong to series B, which filling yarn used flame-retardant polyester fiber and viscose fiber as raw material, observe the differences between series B and 1#~9# of series A in the comfort and flame-retardant performance. After woving fabric according to the established specifications, utilize the GBT5455-1997 “textile vertical combustion performance test method†standard for flame-retardant properties of each sample to be tested to discussion the lowest content of flame retardant fiber which added viscose fiber. The results indicate that:(1) The fabric can reach the flame retardantstandard B1(flame-retardant acrylic fiber limiting oxygen index LOI between 30% and 33%, the flame retardant polyester fiber 30% to 34%) when the picking proportion of flame-retardant yarn and viscose greater than 2: 1 in both series A and B.(2)The weaven structure of fabric has no obvious impact on fabric flame retardant effect. Selected fabric samples which meet the B1 and B2 level in the national standard to complete the comfort test, including: air permeability,moisture permeability, hardness, thermal conductivity, moisture conductivity, wrinkle recovery,anti-pilling. Analyzing and comparing the test data, concluded: Comfortability of series A superior to B, the selection of fabric material impact on its comprehensive performance to a large extent, fabric comfort was strengthened and then weakened with the increase of viscose fiber content, the 8# sample of series A( the interwoven proportion of flame retardant acrylic yarn and viscose yarn is 4:1) has the best comprehensive performance. According to the experimental results,weaving a 147.6dtex blended yarn(80% flam-retardant acrylic/20% viscose fiber)for further product development.On this basis, in order to further enhance the market competitiveness of flame retardant fabric and value-added products, make some patterned design for this flame retardant fabric to let it more beautiful. In reference to the current trends of the premise, choose black and white color with innovative ideas and combine the various cultural elements, design and development several series, including Time Series(ancient times, the agrarian age, the industrial age, the information age), four gentlemen series(plum, orchid, bamboo, chrysanthemum), some series of fire-retardant features comfortable fabric new products. |
