A Relationship Between Industrial/mining Land Pattern And Island Heat Effect In A Mining City

With the development of urbanization, the impact of Heat Island Effect to human life is becoming more and more severe. The mining city Wuan city was studied in this article, which was divided into the following six parts: water area,forest area, meadows, farm land, construction land, mining and industry land. The mining and industry land was taken out for field research to categorize the enterprises in this area. In the meantime, the ground temperature retrieval of Wuan was measured by using atmospheric radiative transfer equation method, which was then verified by field research. In the last step, the landscape pattern index of coal and steel enterprise was calculated and combined together with Wuan’s ground temperature index, which was then used to study how the landscape pattern index will affect the mining and industry land from both internal and external. In the end, we concluded as below:(1)The inner temperature of mining and industry land will increase with the increase of land area. For the coal companies, when the land area is less than 10 hm2, the inner T will increase about 0.5 C with the increase of 1 hm2 for land area. For the steel companies, when the land area is less than 40 hm2, the inner T will increase about0.18 C with the increase of 1 hm2 for land area.(2)For both coal and steel enterprises, The effect of land shape to inner temperature of mining and industry land is much less than the effect of land area and land perimeter,which leads to the positive correlation phenomenon for shape index and land inner temperature.(3)The heat radiation range from mining and industry land to the surrounding land is mainly decided by land area and land shape. For the coal companies, the radiation radius will increase by 130 meters with the increase of 10 hm2 for land area. For the steel companies, the radiation radius will increase by 30-40 meters with the increase of 10 hm2 for land area. While for the land shape index, the radiation radius of coal companies will increase by 75 meters with the increase of 0.5 for land shape index,and the radiation radius of steel companies will increase by 150 meters with the increase of 0.5 for land shape index.(4)The heat radiation intensity to the surroundings is not able to determine due to the difference of land type and other reasons,and it is also not related to any landscape pattern indexes.
