As the world population grows, solid waste becomes more and more, solid waste disposal has become a worldwide problem. The reuse of waste resources will largely mitigate environmental problems.In this paper, a reinforcing material peanut shell powder was blended with PP and TPU matrix, and then prepared by hot pressing to make the peanut shell powder/PP composites and peanut shell powder/PP/TPU composite materials, and the peanut shell powder composite material was first used in the field of filling materials, and the test of physical properties of composite materials was in accordance with the requirements of filling materials to determine the optimum technology of peanut shell powder composite preparation, and the relationship between molding parameters and property of composites.(1) The properties of peanut shell powder/PP composite materials were tested and analysised, and the influence of technological parameters such as the mass fraction of peanut shell powder, hot pressure, hot pressing temperature, pressing time on properties of composite materials, using single factor analysis and orthogonal experiment the optimal process was that the mass fraction of peanut shell powder was 40%, pressing temperature 175℃, hot pressure 12MPa, pressing time 10min. Under this conditon the tensile strength of composites was 19.96MPa, bending strength 35.67MPa, impact strength was 10.4KJ/m2, water absorption was 8.22% and density of composite materials was 1.11g/cm2.(2)The properties of peanut shell powder/PP/TPU composite materials were tested and analysised, and the influence of technological parameters such as the mass fraction of peanut shell powder, the ratio of PP and TPU matrix, hot pressure, hot pressing temperature, pressing time on properties of composite materials, using single factor analysis and quadratic regression rotational combinational design experiment the optimal process was that the mass fraction of peanut shell powder was 30%, the ratio of PP and TPU matrix was 3:1, pressing temperature 174℃,hot pressure 13MPa, pressing time 9min. Under this conditon the tensile strength of composites was25.49MPa, bending strength 44.48MPa, impact strength was 11.35KJ/m2, water absorption was 24.1% and density of composite materials was 1.1g/cm2.(3) The properties of peanut shell powder/PP/TPU composite materials joined flame retardant Mg(OH)2 were tested and analysised, the best flame retardant content was determined by single factor analysis that Mg(OH)2:PP:TPU was 4:3:1. Under this conditon the LOI value was 29.7, the tensile strength was 10.37MPa, flexural strength was 29.42MPa, impact strength was3.85KJ/m2, water absorption was 12.76% and density of composite materials was 1.25g/cm2.
