Affected by economic downturn and stock market volatility, the passenger car market sales volume has three consecutive losses by August 2015. During the entire auto industry downturn, OEMs fight a price war, squeeze cost from every aspect, Changchun Faway Johnson Company as an enterprise of automobile interior trim parts, strive for more new products, in addition to the design of the product itself, the quality, also need to have more price advantage. In the face of current market situation and difficulties, start with production process, recognize, analyze and solve problem by using lean production tools, intensively study in improvement point, and introduce the relevant knowledge of human resource management in the whole seat trim areas to improve the production efficiency, thus reducing the production cost, further to achieve the goal of more price advantage.This thesis starts with the current situation of seat trim plant, analyzed the Changchun Faway Johnson Company car seat trim status quo and existing problems of production process. Three main processes in seat trim plant respectively are edge cutting, yards and sewing. Calculate the number of theoretical number of workers by accounting the job positions of the plant, considering the production, tempo, actual working days and the influence of absenteeism. Combining with actual number in human resources information system, after three months of data comparison, it is found that only cutting process has higher number than theoretical demand caused by unreasonable process arrangement and work division. In addition, Changchun Faway Johnson Company has product diversity and the production is unstable, but USES is built storage mode of production, the current state of production and management need artificial statistical shipping information, manual maintenance inventory. It requires employee to arrange the production plan task and print the station and distribute to each production line. Line production status cannot be intuitive to managers, and need to read the relevant statistics for analysis, backward mode of production is also a reason of low labor efficiency.To solve above problems, this paper select using lean production tools in Changchun Faway Johnson Company car seat trim production process to identify the reasons for the problems, find the main three aspects problems of seat trim plant, namely the lack of performance appraisal dimensions, low car seat trim production line balance, and the high cost of storage type production mode.Through the actual visiting survey, with the support of colleagues and leaders of the company to adjust and apply dimension of performance appraisal, strengthen the incentive effect of the performance appraisal. At the same time to improve on the various factors influencing the line balance, which adjusted the car seat trim process layout, by setting the cause verification system to reduce absenteeism, to put forward for improving the existing production equipment scheme, also put forward through the establishment of a flexible scheduling method to improve the line balance rate. Finally aiming at the existing problems in the mode of production, the introduction of Kanban pull production model, not only using the trim sewing assembly pull next procedure make sewing between Kanban production, and pulled by make sewing process on cutting process of Kanban, further to establish Kanban model through the use of advanced information management system, optimize of the overall production process, make the company growing continuously to exceed customer’s expectations.
