The way of consumption of rice dumplings has been changing in China, and the market demand for rice dumplings has been expanding, which make our rice dumplings industry be in a state of rapid development. However, dumplings from the package, filling, banding, tying and other processes have being completed by the artificial. Bundled rice dumplings is the most time-consuming and difficult process in the whole process. In order to alleviate this contradiction, it is important to develop and design an automatic device for automatic bundling of rice dumplings.So this paper describes the design and research on automatic winding machine for rice dumplings. The main contents of the study are as follows:First, this paper analyzes the present condition of the development of rice industry and research status of automatic winding equipment at home and abroad. Then, it analyzes the whole process of artificial bundling of rice dumplings. It designs the automatic wire winding process, which is in line with the technology of automatic wire winding and provide the design for automatic winding machine equipment. Furthermore, according to the design process, this paper described the design and function of manipulator four grasping mechanism, winding machine, wire threading machine locator and other key actuating mechanism.Second, this paper introduces the hardware design and software design of the control system of the whole equipment, and analyzes the technical difficulties in the design of the software.Finally, this paper analyzes and simulates the key mechanism of the device and verifies the rationality of the design. It shows the assembly process of the whole automatic strapping dumplings winding machine and the debugging result.
