Static cracking agent (SCA) is a kind of chemical agents which main material is CaO. The volume of SCA will expand after mixing with water. To crush rock and concrete is the main useage for SCA. In recent years, the expansion mechanical behavior of SCA in small holes is researched. But the expansion mechanical behavior of SCA in big holes isn’t researched clearly and The SCA in big holes is lack of useage. This paper will focus on the expansion mechanical behavior of SCA in big holes, and develop the new useage for SCA in big holes. Use the the expansion mechanical behavior, a new kind of multiaxial loading system will be developed. The multiaxial loading system can stimulate high ground stress condition.This paper mainly researches the mechanical behavior of SCA. Use the special steel cylinders of big sizes to restrain the volume deformation of SCA, the mechanical behavior for different types of SCA is analyzed in different holes and different expansion space. The experimental results show that at same temperature, the ability of expansion for type Ⅲ of SCA is better than type Ⅱ; reaction rate of SCA will decline under the condition of constrained; the speed of rapid rise for the axial and radial expansion pressure will be reduced by room and the axial and radial expansion pressure will be also reduced; the obvious phenomenon of hole sealing will happen when SCA in smaller steel cylinders, made the difference between axial expansion pressure and radial expansion pressure. Increase the size, hole sealing will be removed gradually and the axial and radial expansion pressure will be increased; output of a certain pressure, the volume of SCA still can expand, a certain reaction rate cloud be recovered and the proportion for the lost displacement is almost consistent with the proportion for the lost expansion pressure.According to the mechanical behavior of SCA got by experiments, this paper develops a kind of multiaxial loading system which can stimulate high ground stress condition, resistant impact and shock. And there are some advantages for the loading system include:larger loading, longer loading schedule and reuse many times.
