Particulate matter pollution is a serious problem, bag dust removal technology has been widely used, the quantity and demand use of filter is highly increasing. PPS filter is the mainly used filter in coal-fired power plant of dedusting flue gas with its good chemical resistance, heat resistance, flame resistance, its annual consumption is up to 40000 tons. Recycling of waste PPS materials and its technology has a important practical value.This article on the basis of the PPS recycling theory, using organic solvent alpha chlorine naphthalene to recycle waste PPS filter, designed the implementation of waste PPS pilot experiment device.The experiment obtained the best technological parameters and conditions. To lay the foundation for the realization of the industrialization.This paper studied the conditions for the recovery of PPS filter, the effect of PPS filter and a-chloronaphthalene quality ratio and temperature on PPS recovery rate.Experiments show that the ratio of 1:60 is the best condition; 240℃ is the the optimum temperature conditions for new material recycling; 220℃ is the best temperature condition for waste material recycling; The recovery rate of new PPS is over 80%,the recovery rate of waste PPS is between 50% and 80%, a-chlorine recovery of naphthalene were all above 65%. The recovery rate of new PPS material is higher than waste PPS material,The a-chloronaphthalene recovery rate of new PPS material is lower than waste PPS material.Infrared spectrum analysis showed that the characteristics of the recycled product functional groups all exist. Which indicates that using organic solvent alpha chlorine naphthalene to recycle waste PPS filter, the recycled product is still PPS; The TG and DSC thermal chemical characteristics show that the recycled product chemical stabilities include melting point, crystallinity, thermal decomposition temperature, mass loss and so on are falling, but the changes are very small, it still can be used in the practical conditions.Through the analysis of recovery cost, the recovery cost under this experimental condition is relatively high, but considering the scale of the industrialization, the recycling of waste PPS filter material is of economic value, environmental value and social value.
