Form error is the deviation between its practical feature and its associated integral feature. It belongs to the macroscopic geometric error. It has a certain impact on assembling, matching properties, structural strength, contact stiffness, sealing, kinematic accuracy and meshing performance. With the solution to form an error machine discriminant, to develop a simple, practical, accurate and efficient algorithm is one of the form error evaluation subjects of great significance.Based on large number of document research in domestic and abroad and the research of straightness, roundness, cylindricity error evaluation and separation method, the thesis first summarizes the shortcomings of the multiple probe error separation method, points out that the multiple probe method does not fit for the actual measurement and proposes a more practical and effective method for straightness, roundness, cylindricity error separation.It proves that in the two-probe straightness error separation method, we can ignore the initial error, because the accumulation cannot affect the separated straightness error. What is more, it also reports the difference between the frequency and time domain separation method to separate roundness error.In the one-probe three-step method, it respectively simulates two simulation analysis situation in the same and different principal axis rotation error. It shows that with the same rotary error, the result is very satisfactory. After adding random error, though it still works, the result is not as good as the former one.Then it makes a comparison between the frequency and time domain methods. The result is, during the error separation, time domain method has smaller computation than the frequency. So it proves the accuracy of the theoretical model of roundness and cylindricity error separation. The result is satisfactory. The design of the software system for the study creates a practical and reliable software development environment.It designs and sets up the Second-order voltage source controlled lowpass filter which is based on the range of frequency. It forms the data gathering hardware system with displacement sensor and DAQ card. It can separate and assess the error by a complete data collection and simulation of the debugging process after connecting with the LabVIEW development platform.At last, it experiments and summarizes its practical technology research.
