Water-soluble ions as a significant part of the chemical composition of ambient air are getting more and more attention at home and abroad because of its important impact on the environment, climate and human health effects. And SO42-, NO3-, NH4+, which are formed by SO2 and NO2 through gas-solid converter in the ambient air, is the major part of water-soluble components. These ions will affect the formation of cloud condensation nuclei and atmospheric visibility, because water-soluble ions have strong absorption action. Meanwhile, they play an important role in acid deposition, climate change and the effect of human health. In this study, sample the sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and respirable particulate matter (PM10) through KB 120 type sampler in Jincheng city, and determine SO2, NO2 by Spectrophotometry, while determine the water-soluble inorganic anions in PM10 by the ion chromatography (IC), however, focus the analysis of Cl-, NO3-, SO42- on the day and night mass concentration changes as well as their mutual relations with meteorological factors and source.Major conclusions are listed as following:1. The average values of SO2、NO2 at day in White Horse Temple were 32μg/m3、70.3μg/m3, separately, the average values of SO2、NO2 at night in White Horse Temple were 17.1μg/m3、20.1μg/m3,separately; the EPA’s values of SO2、NO2 at day were 31μg/m3、61.2μg/m3 and values of SO2、NO2 at night were 25.9μg/m3、41.1μg/m3;The average values of Cl-, NO3-, SO42- at day in White Horse Temple were 0.56μg/m3、2.65μg/m3、7.11μg/m3; the average values of Cl-, NO3-, SO42- at night were 0.95μg/m3、4.21μg/m3、10.79μg/m3, separately; the EPA’s values of Cl-, NO3-, SO42- at day were 1.04μg/m3、4.17μg/m3、 7.84μg/m3 and values of Cl-, NO3-,SO42- at night were 1.73μg/m3、5.81μg/m3、 12.16μg/m3. In addition, the removal for SO2、NO2 and water-soluble anions in the during sampling on ambient air are obviously affected by the wet deposition of rainfall.2. The concentrations of SO2 and NO2 in night were higher than the day during monitoring in the two sampling sites. Weather conditions are more stable in night lead to accumulate pollution. The low correlation of SO2 and NO2 is insignificant, suggest that SO2 and NO2 have different emission sources.3. Cl-、NO3-、SO42- ions and PM10 has a significant positive correlation; Cl" and NO3- in PM10 is ditto; the correlation between NO3- and SO42" is good. The formation process in the ambient air may be subject to the same control factors such as temperature, relative humidity and OH radical.4. The average values of NO3-/SO42- of PM10 in White Horse Temple at day and night are 0.36,0.46, respectively; the average values of NO3-/SO42- of PM10 in EPA at day and night are 0.38,0.48. SO2 and NO2 is mainly from stationary sources; the contribution of SO2 and NO2 of mobile source in EPA is higher than White Horse Temple; the quality ratio of NO3-/SO42- of two sample sites at day were less than at night.5. The average of SOR in two sample sites at day and night is 26.03%、 25.13%、25.85%、22.59%, separately, and the average of NOR is 17.60%、 18.81%、13.49%、17.03%; some part of the sulfate and nitrate in ambient air may be from conversion between pollution precursors such as SO2、NO2 and secondary sulfate and nitrate; compared with the relative humidity, there are greater impact on SOR and NOR by temperature. SOR is positive correlated with temperature and NOR negative correlation with temperature.6. The PM10 mass concentration of two-bit is positive correlated with temperature, however, it has less correlation with relative humidity. The wind speed is an important factor for PM10, for example, the PM10 mass concentration has good correlation with wind speed.7. The temperature has very significant effects on the formation of sulfate and nitrate, meanwhile, the correlation between wind speed and chloride is negative. The condition appeared three-level pollution weather can be divided into three cases:first, the atmospheric ambient temperature and relative humidity increases to the conversion between pollution precursors such as SO2、 NO2 and secondary sulfate and nitrate; second, the particulate matter from Jincheng’s surrounding areas and direct emission accumulate as the meteorological conditions change; third, both the secondary particulate matter from droplet reaction formation and the accumulation of the surrounding areas and direct emissions have effect together.
