Lotus fiber refers to the secondary wall of tracheids and vessel elements in the formation of the lotus leaf handle extension. Lotus fiber is a new type of natural fiber with the performance of green environmental protection, the fiber and its products is quite cool, comfortable, breathable, quick drying moisture absorption, next to the skin anti wrinkle, healthy and environmental protection are comfortable to wear. Lotus fiber can pure yarn and other blended with other fibers, the blended fiber can obtain better physical properties than in the pure fiber. It can also improve fabric handle, reduce material costs and expand the application areas in the market.In this paper, the research major on the knitted fabric of lotus fiber. The effects of the concentration of sodium hydroxide, the concentration of hydrogen peroxide and the scouring time on the weight loss rate, the whiteness and the wool efficiency of the fabric were studied; The test results showed that the most suitable method for the knitted fabric of lotus fiber was treated by alkali oxygen scouring and bleaching, the concentration of sodium hydroxide was 14g/L, the concentration of hydrogen peroxide was 8g/L, and the scouring time was 60 min.The dyeing properties of the X type and the medium temperature dual active reactive dyes for lotus fiber knitted fabric were studied and the main technological conditions were analyzed. Research results show that the staining effect of medium temperature type reactive dyes is the best under the conditions of sodium sulfate concentration is 30-35 g/L, sodium carbonate concentration is 25-30g/L, temperature is 60℃ and scouring time is 60 min. The staining effect of X type reactive dyes is the best under the conditions of sodium sulfate concentration is 10-20g/L, sodium carbonate concentration is 20 g/L, the temperature is 40℃ and scouring time is 60 min.Further test of the resistance of the knitted fabrics made of lotus fiber knitted fabrics treated with the best technological conditions, the properties of the friction, the resistance to the soap and the water resistance. Test results show that the performance of the knitted fabric is higher than the standard of GB18401-2010《National general safety technical code for textile products》.The results of research are helpful to the development of the product of the lotus fiber fabric, and it will have important significances for the future of the textile fiber and its blended fabric. It also provides the experimental basis for the wide application of lotus fiber in the healthy textiles and functional textiles.
