Study On The Reservoir Characteristics Of The Chang8 Reservoir And Horizontal Well Development Technique In Maling Oilfield

Resent years, with the increasing exploration efforts, Chang8 reservoir was discovered 3.5 hundred million tons of reserves in Maling area. For the development and utilization of the reserves, development by rhombus inverted nine-spot well patrern in the southern Zhen246 and the northern Huan305 well area,showed that different well production well in different area. Horizontal well technology is currently recognized as a means to improve individual well production.So, it is necessary to study Maling Reservoir characteristics of Chang8,for horizontal wells scale development provide necessary geological basis.Based on the results of previous studies,the use of theoretical and multidisciplinary approach, through the analysis of core observation, thin section analysis and other statistics, combined with well logging and testing data, author studied characteristics of Maling Oilfield Chang 8 reservoir. For the first time,Chang8 formation will be divided into five sets development of layer（Chang8₁¹, Chang8₁², Chang8₁³, Chang8₂¹, Chang8₂²）. And the study concluded that the main development of small layer is Chang8₁³, the followed is Chang8₂¹. Combined with shallow delta sedimentary characteristics, author believe Maling Chang8 reservoir belong to shallow delta depositional system, creating a unique Maling Chang8 reservoir strong heterogeneity characteristics. Sand combination mode can be divided into three categories by studying a combination of features sand: multi-layer stack type, single stable and unstable angina, provide geological basis for the overall deployment of horizontal wells. Through the cracks observational study believe that the Chang8 reservoir fracture due to the overall growth, combined with reservoir sensitivity analysis and other information, Maling long 8 reservoir for water development.Finally, the author puts forward the overall development and deployment of horizontal wells opinion, have demonstrated that Chang8 reservoir is suitable for horizontal well fracturing oil until well temperature and water development mode. And it is confirmed by Maling Chang8 horizontal wells demonstration area construction achievement.
