Groundwater is an indispensable important resources in the human production and life. In recent decades, groundwater has suffered a large number of uncontrolled and destruction. As an important strategic resource, groundwater has important practical significance for national socio-economic development and people’s daily life. It is likely to cause some impacts on the natural surroundings when building and operating roads in environmentally sensitive areas. Among the impacts, the ones on the groundwater environment are particularly important. If some changes occurred in the groundwater environment, ecological and geological environment around them will also be affected. In this paper, we base on a road in Otog Front Banne as the research object. By collecting hydrogeological data from the aim areas, Seepage Test and groundwater sample’s test and analysis, we identify the permeability of soil and groundwater environmental quality status of the aim area. On this basis, we established the groundwater transport model of pollutants, and quantitative analysis to the portential impact of runoff pollution on regional groundwater quality. According to the results of pollution predictive analysis, we designed a detention pond and green vegetation control combined with an integrated approach to deal with highway runoff pollution, which provides a reasonable and effective guidance for road construction and groundwater resource protection.
