The Research And Design Of "Xianzuo" Furniture

Through many market researches on the "Xianzuo" furniture enterprises, the various Chinese furniture stores and fairs, this paper has mastered the major trends of the markets of annatto furnitures, which provided suggestions and contributed to a better development for the futuer in "Xianzuo" furniture. And it became the starting point of the paper. In order to finish this paper, I have conducted an in-depth field investigation in the "Xianzuo" furniture enterprises, and refered to lots of documents, as well as computer aided design and drafting. This paper mainly researched on those titles, which included the history and heritage of traditional Chinese furniture; the materials、modeling、structure、low carton craft and design of the New Chinese Furniture in "Xianzuo", as well as its use in interior space. This paper aims to get more understanding and recognition from the public, and promote the process of modernization and industralization in "Xianzuo" furniture.The main researched results of this paper are as follow:(1)This paper researched the process and current situation of the development in "xianzuo" furniture.According to the "xianzuo" furniture’s developmental process, I learned the styles of "xianzuo" furniture included "xianzuo" traditional Chinese furniture and "xianzuo" new Chinese furniture. Both two styles of "xianzuo" are researched and compared in terms of materials-, modeling and structure etc. For example, the problem of "xianzuo" traditional Chinese furniture in material:material limited; the problem in craft:complexed carving.(2)This paper provided the concept of new Chinese annatto furniture, and expounded the features^ advantages^ current situation and future of it. This paper also discussed the thought of innovation and design in the "xianzuo" new Chinese furniture, and put forward the case designed for the "xianzuo" new Chinese dining table and chairs.(3) The developmental history of the in Chinese classical furniture is also discussed here. This paper concluded some common types of mortise and tenon joint structure in "xianzuo" traditional Chinese furniture. And as for the limitation in mortise and tenon joint of "xianzuo" traditional furniture, it has made innovation in design for mortise and tenon joint of the "xianzuo" new Chinese furniture.(4) In addition, this paper also made a conclusion about the process of craft and feature in traditional Chinese furniture. I put the design of dining table in "xianzuo" new Chinese as an example. With the help of the system of life cycle assessment, as well as the use of GaBi 6.0 LCA to establish evaluation model, I made a design for the low carton craft in "xianzuo" furniture, in order to provide a more scientific guidance for the low carton processing in the "xianzuo" furniture.(5) In the end, this paper made a summary about the features in the new Chinese indoor design, and carried out a research on the deign case in the dining room of the "xianzuo" new Chinese furniture.The most significant innovation of this paper is:this paper put porward an improvement and innovation to the traditional mortise and tenon joint of the "xianzuo" furniture, and designed a set of "xianzuo" new Chinese dining table and chairs, as well as designed for low carbon craft in the "xianzuo"furniture.
