| In human society, one of the most important thing is economic development. However, the traditional mode of economic development makes the stock of resources drastically reduced, and caused a series of environmental problems, which has affected human social development. Taking the 30 provinces in China as the research object, this paper constructed evaluation index system, which includes ecological environment indexes and economic development indexes. From the national and provincial level, the aim of this paper is to explore the coupling relation between ecological environment and economic development by using coupling coordination degree model, then provides a useful reference to promote the sustainable development of China.There are three main content parts in this paper:(1) Firstly, this paper analyses the present situation of ecological environment and economic development in china. (2)Secondly, this part is a comprehensive evaluation of the ecological environment and economic development. (3)In this part, this paper analyses the temporal and spatial coupling differences between ecological environment and economic development in China. Through analyzing the static comparison and dynamic analysis in the national and provincial regions’coordination types, this paper studies the temporal and spatial different characteristics in national and provincial regions:(1) There is a relationship between environmental pollution and economic development. The EKC curve of industrial waste water emissions show the classic inverted U type, and turning a point in 2007.the relationship between industrial wastewater discharge and the economic growth has improved. Industrial waste gas emissions and solid waste generation amount of EKC curve is positively related to the linear curve. They are in line with the left part of the EKC curve. The relationship between industrial waste gas and ecological environment is deteriorating, and as well as the industrial solid waste. The emission of industrial pollutions is an important factor in influencing the coordinated development.(2) The quality of ecological environment quality is improved continuously, as well as the economic development level. They show obvious provincial differences. The provinces around the Bo-hai Gulf have inferior environment quality ecological. In the east and south of China, the economic development level is higher than other areas.(3) From the national level, the coupling degree between ecological environment and economic development shows a rising trend, the coupling degree changes from low level to high coupling stage. Economic development lags behind the offset recession from 2000 to 2004.And it enters to coordinated development stage in 2005. It enters to the primary developing stage in 2006.It enters the intermediate stage of coordinated development in 201 O.It finishes the change from primary coordinated to a stage of good coordination and development from 2011 too 2014.And ecological environment quality is becoming the limiting factor. From the provincial level, the coupling degree is in a high level coupling stage, and the coupling stage is also developing towards a higher level. The coordinated development level in the provinces of China is obvious, which covers four types:the endangered type, the barely coordinated type, the primary coordination type and the intermediate coordination type. The coupling coordinated development’s provinces are mainly in the East of China. The coupling coordination degree is weakened from the east to the west. The main factor that affects the provincial coupling coordinated development is economy.(4) We should improve the environmental protection technology, develop ecological agriculture, strengthen innovation, increase environmental pollution control efforts and investment in environmental protection, increase investment in education, improve the quality of the population and other measures to promote our country’s coordinated development of ecological economy. |
