Aspheric optical lens has been widely used in the recent optical design, for aspheric surface could correct aberration, improve image quality and field of view and increase resolution. Also, the miniaturization and lightweight of optical system could be fulfilled. During the practical engineer, it is put forward to the corresponding requirements, such as diameter, size, accuracy, weight, machining efficiency and cost, etc. What is most important is the surface precision at the end of aspheric forming, so the appropriate methods of measuring should be established. During aspheric forming, the surface shapes is often poor about tens of millimeters and not smooth enough to reflect light, so it is not suitable to use interference method. However, three dimensions measurement could be used to surface measurement. The high precision, of aspheric surface profile measuring instrument is important.In this paper, aiming at the problem of aspheric surface measurement, the method of three coordinate’s measurement is researched mainly on three parts:Firstly, the commonly used aspheric surface testing method is introduced. The technical specification is given out;Secondly, the detailed analysis of measuring error is given out to build up the mathematical model which would be used to get true surface data;Thirdly, the software is programed to collect, analyze and display data automatically. At last, the high precision measuring system is finished.
