Low temperature carbonization of coal is one of the most popular ways to utilize the lignite effectively, which is an important direction of new coal chemical industry development. However,this kind of industry must face on a lot of problems, such as high energy consumption, severe pollution, waste disposal and so on. In particular, it consumes and relies on a large amount of water resources, and a lot of coal resources in our country is just the area of water shortage. At present situation, the post-processing equipment of pyrolysis products with the environmental performance has become a research hotspot. This paper focuses on the research of washing tower which recovers waste heat of flue gas ofcarbonization.The washing tower is a new type of gas purification equipment. Nevertheless, the traditional washing tower has simple structure and too single function, we create a new type one which has higher effective and more functions to instead of the old one. This new type washing tower also be applied to carbonization, coal drying, sludge drying, ammonia waste-water treatment and so on. It is used for gas liquid solid three phase separation, and plays an important role of recovery of water resources.This paper research on the structure and distribution of flow field of the new type exhaust gas washing tower, and the research of numerical analysis of flow field is the key point. The main content is as follow:(1)Single-phase flow simulation. The main purpose is to inspect the flow filed of tower inlet,and considers some factors’ influence to origin field like different inlet velocity and structural change.(2)Simulation of dust elimination with dispersed phase model. This part inspects the dispersed phase’s influence to origin continuous phase and the efficiency of dust collection of different dust size.(3)Multi-phase and heat transfer simulation. This part researches on different phases’ heat transfer and volume change.
