In recent years, renewable energy sources power generation is getting large scale development such as wind energy and solar energy.etc, the state percent in power system is bigger and bigger, but wind energy and solar energy have intermittent, randomness and area and time difference, which make joint system combined to the grid turn into important and difficult, new energy storage technology research being crucial. Hydrogen as a kind of green energy carrier, not only can store electricity that obtained from renewable energy, but also can be widely used as fuel. Hydrogen is flammable and combustible, and hydrogen is so light that can more easily leak from the hole. It has high diffusion coefficient, and the explosion and detonation limit is broad, especially the leakage of high pressure hydrogen or liquid hydrogen can probably cause fire and explosive hazard, which can bring about huge casualty and property losses. At present the study about the leak diffusion of combustible gas mainly focuse on natural gas and coal gas field.ect, but less on hydrogen. It is short of correlation theory and experiment research. When the hydrogen leakage occurs, it may induce hydrogen explosion, in addition the way of detonation and the forms of explosion is variety, these is no fixed method can be used for disaster evaluation. Under this background our school set up the wind-solar complementary hydrogen production system test bench, that emphasis research and discussion energy storage characteristics and key technology in the hydrogen production by electrolysis of water operation system. In order to ensure the safety of the experiment, remove the possible hidden dangers, the security of the system are analyzed and researched in this paper.In this paper, starting with the wind-solar complementary hydrogen production system have security problems. Analysised and researched the possible factors that influencing the safe operation from three parts, hydrogen production process through electrolysisi of water, hydrogen collection, hydrogen storage and transportation. Then disscussed the calculation method of leakage and explosion overpressure of hydrogen storage and transportation process. Finally introduced the corresponding security concerns combining with the actual experiment and calculated the security wall thickness of the hydrogen tank. The safety distance was calculated at the time of the accident occured. At last, the conclusion was proposed that, the wind-solar complementary hydrogen production system existing leakage and explosion security problems,etc. The main factors that affect the leakage during the process of hydrogen storage and transportation are the initial pressure and initial temperature, the leaking aperture and time also influence the leakage. The 2m3 hydrogen tank working in 2Mpa pressure and normal temperature state, during the explosion, the safe wall thickness is 9mm and the safe distance is 3.6m.
