The main research contents in this thesis are as follows:(1)The 4’-(hydroxy pheny1)2,2’:6’,2"-terpyridyl (L0) and 4’-(4-methyl-phenyl)-2,2’:6’,2"-terpyridyl (L1) were synthesized in this thesis. Four kinds of complexes [ZnCl2L0(1), [Znl2L0]4(DMF)2(H2O)2(2), [ZnBr2L1](3) and [ZnI2L1](4) were prepared via several Zn(H) salts with L0 and L1. Meanwhile, the single crystals of those complexes were obtained by evaporation, diffusion and hydrothermal methods, and their structures were determined and analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The results showed that the ligand (L0), (L1) and complexes (1)-(4) belong to monoclinic system and the metal ions in these complexes are were five-coordinated with distorted square-pyramidal geometry. Intermolecular hydrogen bonds and strongл-л were existed in the molecules of ligands and complexes, they were the main force to consolidate the structures. The ligands (L0), (L1) and complexes (1)-(4) were characterized by IR,1H NMR,13C NMR and the fluorescence properties were also studied.(2)Two macrocyclic ligands 1,4,23,26,29,48-hexaaza-6,9:16,19:31,34: 41,44-tetrabenzo-12,15,37,40-tetraoxa-cyclodotetracontane (L2) and 1,12,15-terace tonitrile-1,12,15-3-aza-3,4:9,10-dibenzo-5,8-dioxcycloheptadecane (L3) were synthesized. Two complexes [Zn2(CO2C2H5)4L2](H2O)6(5) and [Zn(CO2Ph)2L3](H2O)3(6) were prepared via L2, L3 and Zn(Ⅱ) salts, respectively, their single crystals were obtained by evaporation, diffusion and hydrothermal methods, and their structures were determined and analyzed by X-ray diffraction. The results showed that complexe (5) was dinuclear complexe, it was five-coordinated with a triangular bipyramidal geometry. And complexe (6) belongs to triclinic crystal system and the metal ion is six-coordinated with an octahedron geometry. Complexes (5)-(6) were characterized by IR,’H NMR, 13C NMR analysis and the fluorescence properties were also studied.
