Digital mine system has become a hot study direction of mining research, as the developing of information technology. However, the digital mine system construction of our country drops behind, compare with developed country. To improve underground mining safety, one of the available schemes is utilizing underground remote control in modern mine which can decreases injuries and deaths, but its application is still under primary horizon remote control system, while the mining application of newest Mesh network based remote control is not reported.In this project, utilizing a Mesh-based remote control testing locomotive, we designed a multi-sensor data collection system, achieved locomotive sensors data collection, storage and communication, and studied the real-timing of the data collection. This subsystem can provide to the control operator the real time dynamic information of locomotive, including running state, position and altitude, which can improve the safety and reliability of the remote control locomotive.Multi-sensor data collection system is consisted of different function multi-sensors, data collection controllers and peripherals circuits. The sensors include a laser scanner sensor, temperature sensor and absolute rotary encoder, and the data collection controllers are the type of LPC1768, peripheral circuits mainly include Flash data storage circuit and AD sampling circuit. The function of the whole system is to collect data of laser scanner sensor, angle sensor via Ethernet communication interface, CAN port and RS485 bus interface. The data collection unit transmits the data to control unit by RS485 bus interface. The data of Collected will be transmitted to remote monitoring center, achieving that the remote control operator can monitor the position, posture and other status information.This article is organized as follows. First part is the introduction of the research, include its background, actuality and research objective in this paper;moreover, details the overall framework of multi-sensor data collect system and the main functions of each part, the principle of Mesh network; then describes the selection and design of the sensors based on the requirement of data collection subsystem; introduces multi-sensor data collect system hardware design, including circuit microcontroller, LPC1768 and interface circuit. After that, the article focuses on software design, including data collection, data storage and protocol development for each sensor, according to the requirement of the data collection system. Finally, shows the test to the whole system and analysis of the results.
