One dimensional nanosilver materials have a lot of peculiar properties due to its special morphologies. The optical and electrical properties of silver nanowires (AgNWs) depend on the 1D structure, aspect ratio and purity. Nowdays, attentions have been directed to the high yield synthesis of AgNWs at low cost and high purity, and its application in display device, RFID (radio frequency identification), flexible dressing optoelectronic devices et al.In this work, the researches on the controllable and productive synthesis method of AgNWs and their applications have been done as follows:AgNWs are efficiently synthesized by polyol method using different inorganic salt as control agent. Furthermore, the effects about the cation and anion from control agent on the reduction of silver atoms, and the growth of twin crystal are serially studied. The mechanism of action by control agent is proved. The chemical reduction is carried out in the presence of different control agent, volume and reaction time in order to optimized the quality and quantity concnetration of AgNWs. The results show that uniform AgNWs with the length of 20μm, diameter of 80nm and aspect ratio of 250 can be synthesized by using 8mM FeCl3·6H2O as control agent at 40min. The synthesis efficiency of AgNWs is improved.Transparent conductive AgNWs-Films are prepared by screen printing. The effects of the concentration of AgNWs, the printing layers and annealing temperature on photoelectrity properties of the films are studied. The predominant factors on the transmissivity and conductivity of AgNWs-Films are discussed. It is concluded that the surface square resistance of AgNWs-Films with a concentration AgNWs 3wt% can be as low as 25.6Ω/□ after 3 layers printing and annealed at 275℃, where the highest light transmittance can be 39.4%.AgNWs-SiO2 antireflective films are prepared by composited AgNWs with SiO2 Sol-gel. Two kind of AgNWs-SiO2 antireflective films are prepared on the substrate of glass by spin coating method. As is to the first one, when the concentration of AgNWs is 0.3wt%, and the layer is up to 3, the best transmittance of film is 92.9%. When it comes to the second one, the best transmittance of the film can be 94.6%. Both of antireflective films are applied in the capping glass for solar cells. It is concluded that the efficiency of solar cell is respectively increased by 1.5% and 0.3%. In this work, the antireflective mechanism of AgNWs in the films is made clear.
