With the development of science and technology, the improvement of the level of industrialization, the development and innovation of advanced equipment is also getting higher and higher. China’s iron and steel industry, the paper industry and packaging industry are developing rapidly, the majority of the industry have many complex and large power load, in order to improve the work efficiency, and control accuracy, we require study these load. In this paper, taking the winding machine load as an example, A load simulation system platform based on DSP is developed, which provides a great convenience for the research institutes and universities, The simulation system platform avoids the waste of manpower, material resources and financial resources, and makes the data acquisition more accurate, and the load simulation system is of great significance to the further research of the scientific research personnel.In this paper, the design of the load simulation system is mainly for the research and development of recoiling machine load, which is based on the DSP chip as the core design of the control system and servo motor as actuating motor, the converter and motion controller as the constant power control system. Synchronous motor actively load DC motor. To ensure that the current curve of the DC circuit is changed according to the working rules of the actual winding machine.In this paper, the data of a steel plant is presented, and the control process of the recoiling machine is analyzed. The data collected from the field is analyzed, and the mathematical model of the winding process of the recoiling machine load is established.Secondly, this paper gives the whole volume take machine load system simulation, including a constant tension take control system, AC servo system based on DSP simulated coiling load control system and the system working principle. In order to build up the whole system, the electrical part of the whole system is studied and designed.Again, this paper gives the design process based on DSP control board, including the control board power supply module, a reference sampling module, RAM circuit module, clock and reset module, serial communication module, input output module,signal conditioning module, protection module circuit. For ASDA- A2 servo drive system of three control modes are analyzed.Again, the simulation of the load control system software design, including the main program and serial data communications, ADC sampling procedures, PI regulator design, etc. Flow chart analysis is made on the working process of the algorithm. The communication mode between DELTA servo system and DSP control board and communication protocol are set up. In order to build the simulation platform, the parameters of the servo control system are set up, and then the load simulation system is designed, and the simulation results are obtained.Finally, the test and simulation results are obtained by using the modular test and Simulation of the load simulation system platform of the winding machine, It is concluded that the design of the winding machine load simulation system platform is good, and has achieved the expected effect, and has set up a good foundation for the further research of the coiling machine load.
