Hydrogen containing silicone oil (PHMS) has excellent water resistance, because of the large number of activity of Si-H bond in the molecule, it can be hydrolyzed to form a network structure under certain conditions, and the surface of the fabric can be cross-linked into film. Under the action of organic platinum catalyst, the Si-H bond in the molecule can react with the compound containing unsaturated bond such as the olefin, and the modified silicon oil is prepared.The product not only retains the characteristics of the hydrogen containing silicone oil, but also has the properties of the modified group. Alkyl group is a common hydrophobic group. In certain conditions, the waterproof agent can be added to the fabric surface, which can be attached to the fabric surface, and the long chain alkyl group also has the characteristics of softness property of the fabric.The nano SiO2 sol prepared by sol-gel technology can be used to treatment of the fabric, and made it has a certain degree of roughness. Therefore, the surface hydrophobicity can be further enhanced. Based on this, silicone modified by long carbon chain that prepared and SiO2 nanoparticles are used in fabric finishing. And they were synthesized long carbon chain alkyl co modified silicone oil and amino functional modified nano SiO2 sol, combining with coupling agent KH-560 were common applied to fabric finishing. In addition, a new type of nano hybrid long carbon chain modified silicone resin was prepared. It not only simplifies the processes of fabric finishing, but also the hydrophobic property improves significantly. The contents of this paper are as follows:(1) With hydrogen containing silicone oil that content of Si-H was 0.16% and alpha olefins C8-18 as raw materials, using organic platinum as catalyst prepared long carbon chain modified silicone oil, and made it emulsified. The nano SiO2 sol was prepared by the sol-gel method. Using PL and nano SiO2 sol through two steps to finish the fabric.The structure was characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H-NMR).PL on the particle size and ξ-potential were determined, and studied the effects of different factors on the performance and the washing fastness of fabric. The results showed that the fabric has good waterproof and flexibility flexibility after sixteen alkyl silicone oil that were modified by sixteen olefins and nano SiO2 sol finished.The average particle size of emulsion PL3 for 147.3nm,ξ-potential was 31.5mV. When the PL3 viscosity is 800 mPa·s, PL3 dosage is 0.5%(mass fraction), the baking temperature is 160℃, the baking time is 3min, the fabric after finishing has the best comprehensive performance, and whiteness of the fabric that were finished was 74.07%, the bending rigidity was 885mN,the surface static contact angle could reach 142.1°. The washing fastness of fabric was genera.By scanning electron microscope (SEM), the surface of the treated fibers could be observed with a large amount of nano-scale, and the roughness of the fiber could be increased significantly.(2) With PHMS-0.16%, vinyltriethoxysilane (VTES), hexadecylene (HDE) as raw materials, using organic platinum as catalyst prepared modified silicone oil with long carbon chain and alkoxy group (PHV), and made it emulsified. Amino modified nano silica sol (KH550-SiO2) prepared by the sol-gel method, combining with PHV emulsion and KH-560 were common applied to fabric finishing. The structure was characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR) and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (’H-NMR), KH550-SiO2 of the particle size were determined. Studied the effects of KH-560 on washing resistance of fabric and the quantity of finishing agent of fabrics properties. The result showed that KH-560 can increase the adhesion of the fabric surface, and enhance the fabric’s washing resistance by tightly combined the nanoparticles on the fabric surface. When the dosage of PHV is 2%, the bending rigidity of the fabric that finished was 874mN, the whiteness was 73.57%, the static contact angle of the fabric surface was 142.1°, the performances were achieved in this condition.(3)Two different nano hybrid silicone resin PLSO and PSO were prepared by hydrolysis-polycondensation of PL3 and PHMS-0.16% with TEOS, and made them emulsified. The structure was characterized by infrared spectroscopy (IR). Studied the effects of different factors on the performance by comparing the hydrophobic property of the two kinds of fabric that were emulsified. The results showed that the waterproof effect of PLSO emulsion was better than PSO. When PL3 was retained in the Si-H content of 0.048%(that is, PLSO-4), the amount of PLSO-4 was 2%, the baking time was 3 min, the bending rigidity of the fabric after finishing was 831mN, whiteness was 74.37%, and the surface static contact angle could reach 140.3°, the comprehensive performance of the finished fabric was better. By scanning electron microscope (SEM), the surface of the treated fibers could be observed with a large amount of nano-scale, and the roughness of the fiber could be increased.
