Papermaking wastewater takes up a great proportion in various types of industrial wastewater, it contains complex pollutants, and organic concentration of which is high. Papermaking wastewater is hard to process and seriously pollutes the environment, besides, the treatment costs high. This paper discuss the property of the water and make economically viable treatment process, it has broad application prospects and great influence on reduce environmental pollution, it can also promote the healthy development of the paper industry.In the paper, we design a process for regenerated papermaking wastewater from Jiangxi Wanzai Jinke Paper Co., Ltd. We study related materials carefully, analyze the characteristics and the quality and quantity of regenerated papermaking wastewater in detail, comprehensively compared the treatment of regenerated papermaking wastewater with similar Enterprise at home and abroad, finalize the process design according to the development of enterprises planning. That is: Using "improved oxidation ditch+coagulation sedimentation" treatment for present papermaking wastewater resently, when companies grow, the amount of wastewater increase, using long-term treatment ―IC+improved oxidation ditch+coagulation sedimentation‖ to process more and greater concentration of organic matter in the wastewater.Compared to other oxidation ditch technology, improved oxidation ditch can be increased by at least 10% of the COD removal rate by extending the aerobic reactor residence time. Improved oxidation ditch spend low cost at running time, simply to operate and manage, has good effect and it can achieve better denitrification treatment effect. We commissioning the project for nearly a month, data shows that, COD removal rate by improved oxidation ditch reached 93%, the system is stable and can achieve better treatment effect. The significant reduction in effluent COD greatly reduced subsequent coagulation sedimentation treatment load. The actual operation shows that: after changing the wastewater treatment process of the enterprise, influent water indicators can meet the requirement of the discharge standards for regenerated papermaking industry. This project is important for the coordinated development of economy and environment.
